Windmill Tapes and Labels new Mark Andy 2200 integrated servo design
We are proud to announce the arrival of our brand new 8
col Mark Andy 2200 servo label press to compliment our
existing 6 col Mark Andy and 2 Ashe diecut and rewind machines.
The new press represents the largest capital investment Windmill has made in the last few years and is designed to support our growth in the high quality self adhesive label sector. We are very excited as the new press is the very first of its kind in the UK with several unique features which we believe will give us a competitive advantage over the coming months.
Some key features are as follows:
- Servo design control enabling fully automatic regisration meaning job set up will be much speedier thus reducing costs.
- Combined UV and hot air drying allowing for faster print speeds.
- Online registration control ensuring improved quality and faster print speeds.
- Delam / relam enabling us to print on the reverse side of labels as well as the front.
The new press maintains Windmill's position at the cutting edge of label manufacturing and represents a significant opportunity to offer very high quality labels whilst reducing costs due to improved efficiency.
