BIMS Kitchen

The Issue:

James came to Windmill with an existing range of labels but with the desire to improve their print quality and finish. Based on a metallic base paper and overlamination, James wanted to ensure continuity of colour within the range and a metallic finished colour which stood out on the shelf.

The Solution:

Using Windmill’s HP6600 press, we printed out a gradient of colours covering the base gold, red and bronze finish James wanted. When coupled with an incremental screen of white, James was able to select exactly the colours he wanted and Windmill then back applied those colours to the entire range ensuring absolute continuity and the colours James wanted.

We also then applied both a gloss and matt lam to the samples and James decided the matt finish was the way to go.
